BEST COUPON DEALS WALGREENS 05/05-05/11 SAVE HUNDREDS!! extreeme couponing!

I am fully aware that this is not a coupon blog but recently I researched how to become an extreme coupon-er and I am just obsessed . I have managed to save myself hundreds of dollars and its only been two weeks!
The following  two deals are my fav deals of the week! 

WALGREENS
Sally Hansen extreme wear nail polish $1.79 
There is a Sally Hansen display  with a coupon book attached , you can take as many as you like . The coupon is for $1 off any nail product . (check with the beauty advisor! she will show you where to ge the coupon)
$1.79 - $1.00 = 79 cents  each! 
this deal ends saturday

HARRIS TEETER
Welch’s Essentials Juice, 64 oz $3.78 with VIC CARDBuy One Get One Free
Welch has a 75cents off coupon if you sign up on their website and you can print this twice
harris teeter DOUBLES coupons so thats $1.50 savings off each one if you use two coupons!
3.78- 1.50 coupon -1.50.coupon = 78 CENTS!!!!!!!!!! thats all you pay! for two!

Here are my top tips to couponing from my own personal experience.

1. find your local grocery store that doubles coupons! Mine is Harris teeter, so if i have a coupon less than $1 they will double it ( as log as the coupon does not say "do not double) sometimes they will even triple it!
2. Always look for a store coupon to pair with the manufacture coupon 
3. Buy more than one newspaper . chances are you will find an amazing deal and wish you had more coupons to get more of the item.
4. Sign up on the brand name's individual websites, they will give you coupons and discounts!
5. Check the weekly ad for all the national stores and compare prices. Usually Walmart price matches all adds so you can do more of your shopping in one place! 
6. look for the popular extreme couponers online such as http://couponmom.com/ and http://thekrazycouponlady.com/ they make couponing sooo much easier

my personal secret tips!

1. walgreens puts out a "saturdate" table , every Saturday where companies pay to have their product put at the front of the store. They usually provide the store with a bunch of coupons  and once the event is over they have tons of coupons left behind the cosmetics counter. If you ask nicely they usually let you have some from previous weeks! 
2. walgreens also has multiple monthly coupon savings books that you can combine with manufacture coupons! so when you are getting ready to purchase something let the cashier scan the item and you may get lucky and have a register reward for that item print out. if it does , ask them to apply it now rather than waiting for the end of the transaction then you can take advantge of a register reward , monthly coupon AND manufacture coupon! CRAZY SAVINGS
3. Walgreens also has their employees change their tags on saturdays in preparation for sunday , that means they will honor this week AND next weeks prices ! so make sure you do all your shopping there on saturdays to get ultimate savings. 

Im seriously obsessed with saving money and finding deals, I cant believe I didn't start couponing  a long time ago!

Lets Be Real (confessions of Amanda Sky's diary) excerpt #1

Hey readers! I know this blog is primarily fashion and lifestyle related but I thought I would change things up a little and give you guys a weekly fictional novel/ column named “lets be real” where you can read about the life of Amanda Sky.  A Young teen going through all the problems of high school, from love to social media drama and more.

It’s a new idea I’m testing out and would love to hear all of your feedback after you read it. Ill try and keep it short and sweet. Hopefully you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it! 

Lets Be Real (confessions of Amanda Sky) 

Diary excerpt #1

I could distinctly feel the sudden, repetitive thumps in my chest. Did he just look my way? It’s funny how a half- second glance can feel like a two hour movie of what I dream our life together could be like.  In my head we were already married with kids, living on wisteria lane. A not so perfect life full of juicy scandal and drama, but everything I want in romance story.  Could this be the moment I’ve been waiting for? Should I say something to him? I fixed my mouth in preparation to say something smooth and sexy, as if I actually knew how to chat to a guy. Of course my teenage years of awkwardness is yet to be good to me, all that came out was a “heyyywwoow look at the weather”. To my embarrassing expectations he looked straight through me to the bobble head cheerleader behind me.  I thought maybe he didn’t hear me, and I was in the clear, I didn’t just completely embarrass myself. Unfortunately that’s always the case. I felt a light smack across my forehead with not so disclosed “loser” cough by one of the fools in my class. I looked down at the paper airplane that assaulted me, and sat at my desk. There you have it, class hasn’t started yet and already I’m disengaged. I felt a slight brush against my shoulder as he walked past me to his seat and my stomach exploded with butterflies. There it was again.. Another look! Ok so although that look was his way of saying , “get the hell out of my way”, and the fact that he has no clue I’m even in his class, I didn’t care. The 5 hours a week I got to see him in my English class made everything I go though well worth it.  I pulled out my “I love Robbie” graffiti covered notebook and continued to do what I do best. Write about a life I wish I had….

LETS HAVE A PAN OF ASIAN FASHION

Fashion is forever changing , and our biggest influence is modern culture. Different trends are constantly spiraling into our local stores and I can't get enough of it. Yes its different and interesting, something you usually wouldn't usually dare wearing on a regular basis, but thats fashion! Its all about taking risks, we wear bold colors , bright prints and try to imitate the craziness that appears on the runway every season. This pan-asian style is sweeping the nation and showing us that its ok to mix and UNmatch. Its a perfect fabric faux pa. Floral bomber jackets and multicolored striped shorts. Strange but utterly perfect at the same time!
